From the author
This work is a direct continuation of a previous work written between 1998 and 2006 and published in 2007, titled “The Christmas Chronicle.” It covers 55 years of annalistic history from 42 BC to 14 AD and explores the code of the Christian chronology and the dualistic Sacrament of the Nativity of Christ. To fully understand the content of this current monograph, it is assumed that the reader is familiar with the material presented in the aforementioned book. The first monograph is available in bookstores and has been freely accessible on the Internet since the spring of 2011.
Contrary to the original plan and expectations, the volume of this monograph has expanded beyond what was initially intended. It now encompasses the period from 14 to 30 AD, specifically the time after the Gospel of Luke’s account of 12-year-old Jesus in the temple. This period marks the end of the chronology covered in the previous monograph and extends until the Baptism of Jesus, as narrated in the Four Gospels. This period, which has always held a mysterious and heightened interest, exists outside the New Testament and early Christian Apocrypha.
In this work, the chronicle and annals play a more prominent role, serving as the format or structure for the narrative. It covers a relatively shorter annalistic period compared to the first monograph. The narrative focuses on the parallel unfolding history of the sacra and the history profana, set against the backdrop of the Ancient World. The geographical scope spans from the Mediterranean, encompassing the Roman Empire and neighboring countries, all the way to India and even China. The narrative is divided into six alternating parts, following a five-year plan structure (14— 19 AD; 19— 24 AD; 24— 29 AD). On one hand, it explores the history of Rome and the world, while on the other, it delves into various ways of understanding and experiencing the adolescence, youth, and early adulthood of Jesus of Nazareth. The culmination of this narrative is found in Part VII, which focuses on the Epiphany Mystery of the Baptism of Jesus Christ, occurring on January 6th, 30 AD.
It is important to emphasize that Jesus did not venture to India or Tibet, as some beliefs in the twentieth century suggested. Instead, He traveled through the biblical Oikumene, including Mesopotamia, Media, and Ararat, during the pre-baptismal period of His life. Understanding this interval of time is crucial for comprehending the significance of the Sacrament of Golgotha, spanning from 1 BC and AD to 14— 30— 33 AD.
