33 — 67/68 AD
From the Ascension of the Lord and the first Christian Pentecost Trinity in the spring of 33 AD till the martyrdom of Peter and Paul in 67 and the death of Nero in 68 AD.
The book “Apostles and Caesars” serves as a continuation of the chronology, which includes “The Christmas Chronicle” (42 BC — 14 AD), “The Road to the Jordan” (14 — 30 AD), and “The Mystery of Golgotha” (30 — 33 AD). It encompasses a period of 35 years (33 — 67/68 AD) and explores various significant events. On one hand, it focuses on the (meta)history of the sacra, starting from the Ascension of the Lord and the first Christian Pentecost Trinity in the spring of 33 AD and extending to the martyrdom of the Apostles Peter and Paul in 67 AD. On the other hand, it delves into the history profana within the chronological framework, commencing from the 19th year of the Caesarian Tiberius (beginning of 33 AD) and concluding with the suicide of Nero and the end of the first Roman imperial dynasty, the Julio-Claudian dynasty, in 68 AD.
